In order to ensure such, Fix My Payment ensures a through due diligence investigation just as your servicer would to determine your eligibility. Here are the 3 simple steps a Mortgage C.A.R.E Counselor will take you through to determine your eligibility;

GATHER YOUR DOCUMENTS:

The most important step of this process is gathering all documents that your servicer would require of you. Those documents include;

  • Proof of Income (One Month Worth)
  • Tax Returns- All Schedules    (Wage Earners: Most Recent    Self Employed: 2 Most Recent)
  • 2 Most Recent Bank Statements (Most Recent)
  • Hardship Letter
  • List of Monthly Expenses
  • Homeowners Association Statement (Most Recent)
  • Proof of Homeowners Insurance
  • Property Tax Bill
  • Most Recent Mortgage Statement

Own Rental property? Please include the following information as part of the documents you need to gather;

  • Mortgage Statement(s) for each rental property
  • Lease Agreement(s)

Self-Employed and/or own a Corporation? Please include the following information;

DUE DILIGENCE :

Once you have made an appointment to discuss your mortgage situation, you will be assigned a C.A.R.E counselor who will be your single point of contact. Your C.A.R.E counselor will sit down with you and perform a thorough evaluation to determine all options available to you. This meeting will take approximately 45 mins to 1 hour. (more if needed). If we determine that additional information to conclude your evaluation, you will be given a list of the additional documents needed at that time. It is important that you bring all of the documents requested so we can provide you with accurate information during your meeting with your C.A.R.E counselor.

FINAL CONCLUSION:

During your meeting with your C.A.R.E. counselor the information you receive will be specific to what you need to do to take advantage of the workout programs that are available for you.
